eSTELimage is a state-of-the-art document management product that includes scanning, storing, indexing and retrieval functions. It is integrated with eSTELPLAN using Client-Server technology enabling the management, display and printing of documents. It provides the following major features:

• Scanning of original documents such as Mill Test Reports (MTRs) , Proof of Delivery Receipts such as signed shipment documents and memos
• Storing the document images as BLOBs (binary large objects) within the eSTELPLAN database
• Ability to index and set up cross-references for the images within the eSTELPLAN databases
• Ability to retrieve and view the images on the PC
• On-demand printing of images from a connected terminal or PC.

This product is designed for the transmission of a facsimile directly from the computer to a vendor or customer. The eSTELfax function can be accessed via action bars within various applications or via a Hot Key facility. It enables the faxing of screens, reports, forms, and notes.
The system provides for the ability to edit the information, view fax queues, delete items in the queue, and verify completed fax information. Direct transmission of the following forms is available:

• Sales Quotations
• Sales Acknowledgements
• Bills of Lading
• Purchase Orders
• Mill Test Certificates
• Invoices

eSTEL/EDI is a complete Electronic Commerce product that allows transactions to be easily processed and transmitted through the eSTELPLAN system via X.12 Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). eSTEL/EDI manages all communications, translation, and data insertion functions required to receive, acknowledge, process, and send EDI transactions.
eSTEL/EDI is an event-driven, interactive application providing seamless integration with eSTELPLAN transactions. eSTEL/EDI enables the EDI functions to be executed without operator intervention, allowing automatic communication with Trading Partners (vendors and customers).

eSTEL/EDI automates the sending, receiving, and translation of data and formats, as well as the integration of this data with the eSTELPLAN systems. To ensure a highly secure, reliable, and accurate environment, eSTEL/EDI performs comprehensive edit checks on the data and formats prior to integrating the information with eSTELPLAN.

eSTELperformance was developed for eSTELPLAN users who want to measure the delivery performance from vendors and to customers. The product analyzes the customer and vendor delivery performance by comparing the due dates, delivery dates, quantity ordered, and quantity delivered. In addition, the system provides an analysis of customer returns and mill rejects.

eSTELperformance enables buyers to better evaluate the effectiveness of a vendor based on the ability to deliver on time and meet quantity and quality requirements. Also, the system improves customer service by enabling sales, production, and shipping staff to monitor the ability to meet customer demands.
