Metal Industry Exposure and Expertise
The Invera team works closely with a large range of Metals Industry companies and has a dominant position in systems for metal distribution in North America. This vast industry-specific experience allows unique and cost effective solutions to be developed for our customers. With in-house systems departments, attracting staff with this level of experience is difficult and this is compounded by the fact that the in-house staff generally have only little exposure to other companies in the same industry limiting the scope of their knowledge and experience.

Development & Support Capital Investment
Invera makes the investment in capital equipment and technology on behalf of our customers for the development and support of our products. This is a major capital saving for our customers as the level of capital investment required for the support of advanced technology is substantial and constantly made obsolete by new technology.

Support Automation
At Invera, there is a considerable on-going investment in computers, software, and networking for support automation. This major investment in staff, technology and processes is difficult to justify in nearly all cases by an in-house data processing department.

Leverage in Product Development
Invera is aggressive in the development of new products and the implementation of new proven technology with a unique yearly development commitment of over 50% of annual sales. Our customers obtain this development as part of product support at a fraction of the full development cost. This level of investment, using a wealth of industry-specific expertise, is only financially justified by the large customer base. Equivalent development investment by a single company would be excessive. The prohibitive costs and lengthy implementation timeframes associated with custom systems development are difficult to justify in today’s business climate.

Minimize Technology Risk
On behalf of our customers, Invera has a huge and on-going commitment to progressive enhancement of our products to remain at the forefront of technological advancements. Invera conducts all the research and development on new third-party software products and technology. Our customers only license the complete and operational product eliminating the cost and risk of new technology research.

Minimize In-House Systems Staff
Invera is dedicated to providing the “engine” for the metal distribution, processing and manufacturing industries. For the majority of small and medium metal companies, Invera’s products and services eliminate the requirement for in-house systems staff and related computer staff. For medium and large companies, the level and expertise of in-house staff required to complement the Invera Customer Services Center is dictated by operational and cost considerations and the requirement for these companies to go beyond the “core” functionality that is obtained by Invera.
