Stand-by Support
Invera provides stand-by support for a specified time period when a
customer anticipates requiring assistance for special events outside
of business hours. This support offering can help customers minimize
the down time caused by unforeseen problems during such events. Typically
stand-by support is requested for the following types of events:
- Live operational startup
- Physical Inventory
- Computer relocation
- New cable testing
- Data conversion
- Installation / Replacement of any type of hardware
- AIX Upgrades
Stand-by support is provided in 8-hour time slots and
the customer can select the required 8-hour block. A standby support
fee plus any actual call time is billable.
Computer Emergency Operations Support
Although Invera products, hardware and communications technology are
very stable and highly reliable, an emergency assistance program for
coverage 7 days per week outside normal support hours and on business
holidays is also provided. This optional support offering, Computer
Emergency Operations (CEO) Support, is typically subscribed to by customers
who have 24-hour operations.
CEO support is designed to assist customers with ‘show-stopper’
type problems that prevent them from proceeding with normal business
functions. This type of event is often due to computer operational failures.
